Spring Has Sprung

So excited today to discover thousands and thousands of golden poppies on the hills here in Tucson, Arizona, that sprang up overnight. My friend, Terry, keeps her horse over in this area and just had to show me this beautiful site. Naturally, I took out my brushes immediately.

"High And Mighty Study"

Zion National Park walking trail was the inspiration for this study mentored by Phil Starke's online teaching program. It measures 8"x10" on quality, archival canvas board.

"McCloud Falls"

Discovering these magnificent falls up north near Mt Shasta was thrilling. Ofcourse, being an artist I just had to paint them. I did one of these falls previously a few years back, and I sure see the improvement in my work, thanks to taking online video mentoring classes from such a great teacher, Phil Starke. Thanks, Phil.
